How to report someone

We use a combination of AI and human review to make sure the people joining Mutual are a good fit for our community. But your feedback is still one of the best tools we have!

  1. 1 Open their profile While looking at someone’s profile, tap on the screen to pull up more info about them.
  2. 2 Tap Report or Block Scroll down and tap on “Report or Block User”.
  3. 3 Tell us why Tell us why you’re reporting them.

Report Process

What happens when a profile is reported?

We receive a report
We investigate the report
Violation is confirmed
We determine the severity
  • Warning
  • Suspension
  • Ban
Violation is not confirmed
Is claim made in good faith?
  • No action is taken
  • Repeated False Reports?Reporter Suspended

If a report cannot be confirmed or no violation of the Community Guidelines can be found, but the report was still made in good faith, no action is taken. If the reporter is found to have knowingly submitted a false report, they will receive a warning and will be suspended.
